Match Report 13’s – at Torrington
It was a messy first half; Our boys sluggish from the long car journey, coupled with playing up the pitch and a ref blind to his boys coming in from the side and allowing players to continue off their feet, resulting in a scrappy and frustrating first 30 minutes. Once again we were exploited on the wings while we generally controlled the middle of the park. Going into the half time break we were 3-4 up.
As the second half started and the boys had gotten their heads around the untidy playing style of the opposition, our boys started to find chinks in their armor. Our boys totally ran away with it in the second half scoring try after try with almost no answer from Torrington as the final whistle went 4-11.
Leo, Luca, Bobby, Oscar, Thomas P, Jacob, and Dylan all getting on the score sheet.
Little shout out to Oliver, who made some decent carries and is starting to grow in confidence.
Overall a solid team performance!
Sidmouth next week… that’ll be tasty! They like to get it wide too, so no doubt the boys will get a drilling at training this week to ensure that doesn’t happen
