Under 10s
Sidmouth away- unfortunately not the big local derby we were looking forward to and expecting!
Sidmouth had 14 last night out of their 18 but by kick off had 6! Sounds like they had the Honiton Bug
But it wasn’t a wasted morning,
My player of the week Teddy, it takes a coach a lot to give their child an award but today left me no choice, he played at fly half today which gave him a extra spark and kept his brain 100% focused for every second for a change, he did everything well, tackling, rucking and really run the show at flyhalf and making sure he tried out all his calls and made sure everyone got a fair go with ball including the Sidmouth players that joined his team today.
Stuart Perry words
Today we made the short distance over the hill.
Today was a bit of a mismatch really...
Unfortunately Sidmouth had a few unavailabilitys today so we split into 4 even teams of 5-6 and Sidmouth split into 2-3 players each team.
It's always hard bigging upself up for a game to play your teammates.
Our players all done exceptionally well represented the club well, all players giving it their all.
Emphasis today was on Teamwork and 3 or more passes every phase.
A delight on the sidelines to see great team tries scored either side!! These boys and girls are really improving every week. Big hand to Rory's coaching and developing this great team.
Player of the Day on my pitch goes to Jacob! A player that has just joined a few weeks ago. Oozing in natural tallent who could really be the real deal in a few years!! When this boy gets going I wouldn't want to tackle him as a under 10. Speed, power, aggression, a great attitude, and a excellent team player.
Well done to each and everyone today!
