Sun, Smiles, and sensational Rugby.
Honiton U16’s with 2 wins from 2 took to the turf on a high for their 1st cup match of the season against Cullompton.
The Dimonds hit the ground running and soon dotted down to take the lead, however with some evenly fought battles it was the visitors who levelled the score and drew ahead with some well executed individual tries. 10 mins before the break it was the Dimonds who defied the uphill slope of Allhallows with 2 great team tries to end the half 19-17 down.
The second half started where the first left off with the Ton running rampant down the slope, the possession was all one way for most of the half and with cullompton bare 15 looking tired, the home side capitalised.
At the final whistle it was Honiton who took the honours with 57-24 win and tries from
Aiden (4), Max (3), Josh, Oli (first ever) plus Owen and Eric adding the goals. MOTM going to Dylan and tackler of the day going to Josh.

Massive effort from all the boys today, even with a few out with injuries. Well done
