This week Honiton make the long trip over to Tavistock for this merit table clash. Having played earlier in the season at allhallows, Honiton were victorious 38-7. This is the largest defeat for Tavistock this season but much like their first team they have shown some fine form of late and this is never an easy place to travel, as Honiton found out last year! Unfortunately for the third game running the squad is hit by unavailabilities and injuries, so it’s been a struggle to raise the bare 15. However as proven last week, if the 15 on the park put every effort it and want it more, you can come away with the victory.
Team news…..front row is solid with Robbie Justin and Quiz Huskins. Second row is Rob W and Olive and back row is Clemants, Churchy and Bailey. With Tavistock notorious for their good strong pack, this should be an even contest upfront. Ash continues at 9 and Sampson returns from injury to replace Delarge at 10. Steve again goes 12 and with Garman and Webber away, Cookie comes in at 13. Wing jobs are Dan W and Nicky T, with Egg Fowler making his return from a two month lay off at full back.
Bus leaves at 11.45, let’s come back with a victory and hope it’s a good day all round for HRFC
I asked my nan, "Nan, what is love?"
She replied, "You know, I've always thought of it as something very natural, very organic. Oh yes, on the outside it's tough, and it's ugly, and it's hard, but let it grow naturally and look inside, and you'll see it's soft, and it's gentle."
So, naturally, I said, "That's the most beautiful thing I've ever heard. Do you really believe that's what love is?"
She said, "Love... I'm sorry, I thought you said a melon."
