U9’s Match Report

Under 9s

The Sun shone atlast on a Sunday morning and Honiton made the most of it with the best handling performance of the season throwing the ball about like the Babas and one pitch not conceding a single try and gave everything not to concede in 40 mins of rugby and the other pitch with a very dominant display against both Withycombe teams!

It all came together today and the kids totally stop caring about scoring tries and I lost count of the amount of passes made when the try could of been scored themselves but instead made an unselfish pass.

2 very proud coaches that have been pushing the teams passing and getting the focus off scoring tries all season!

Great on my pitch to Millie was on fire a great try and try saving tackle, passing improved all through the game tackling was impressive too. Jude was great in all aspects and bosses everyone. But everyone was great today and got stuck in no idea of the score’s but they only scored a few and we had a lot.

Best overall display of the season! Anyone could of won player of the week, we have been asking them to communicate with each other and plan moves and put pressure on in defence and one boy really stood up and did this our scrum half Seb Thomas was player of the week!
